Sorry I haven't posted anything on here in a while. I've been busy catching up on the news... or what passes for news in the Swazi press. Following are some of my favorite recent headlines (and, yes, they're all real). More of my own news to follow soon.

My dear, sweet David, and My dear, sweet, Scott, First of all, I want to wish David a very Happy Birthday !!! I would have called yesterday, but I don't have a number to reach you. So, believe me when I say that I have been thinking about you both, and, at least in spirit, I have celebrated you and your Birthday with cake and candles and a picture of your beautiful face, in my mind. I love you boys, and although I do not contact you much, you are in my heart forever. So much has gone on with me over the past months, that I would have loved to talk to you about, but, I know that you have your hands filled, and I also know that there will be a place and time to catch up. I am talking to Patrick about a possible trip to Spain in early September. What about meeting up? Any plans to stop by New York? Please let me know how I could reach you. All my love, Bob
Hello, again, sweet David and Scott. Is there a way I can more directly contact you? Either phone or e-mail? Also, to make a donation, what should I do? Send a check or mail order? And, to which address? I read Scott's story of the blankets and saw his photos of the recipients, and was so moved. Also, I want to tell you that I was watching "Hard Ball" with Chris Matthews, while on the bike at the gym. Suddenly, he started to show shots of Africa, so I plugged the audio in, and he was speaking about the park rangers that are preventing poachers from killing rhinos and elephants. Then, he said that he wanted to thank all the workers in Swaziland, who are helping those suffering with AIDS and HIV related illnesses, and I knew he was talking about you guys. He showed one picture of a woman, probably from your organization, and I was expecting he might show Scott or David. He didn't, but I was so moved, and felt so proud of you guys, that I was fighting back tears. So, please know that we are all thinking about you, all the time. With all my love, Bob
I'm enjoying your blog. I'm a 4th year medical student at UW-Madison and have been looking for an opportunity abroad in Feb/Mar of 2010. I heard great reviews about the Swaziland experience at Good Shepard from a pediatrics resident here. I have tried some contact emails but everything I've sent has bounced back. The most up to date info I've found is your and Scott's blogs. Do you know who the current contact person is for the student rotation?
